Visa Application Centre in Jeddah
Since April 2011 a new Visa Application Centre for German Schengen Visas in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia has been opened. All applicants (Saudi nationals and resident foreign nationals) who wish to apply for a German Schengen Visa will now be able to submit their respective applications at the
Visa Application Centre
A visa section will be established at the German Consulate-General in Jeddah before the end of this year, declared Federal Foreign Minister Dr. Westerwelle in March 2012, on his
visit to Saudi Arabia
This will considerably shorten the waiting period when applying for a German Schengen visa since applications (together with the passports) will not have to be sent to Riyadh, but be processed in Jeddah.
